The service was excellent. But I did not think the food tasted good overall.
I ordered a Chicken Parm that did not taste fresh nor hot. My gf ordered lobster linguini that did was bland and did not live up to expectations. Server was good. Helped us out with our issues and we salvaged the dinner.
I have been to this restaurant many times before and the food and service were excellent. My most recent visit on 10/4/2023 was awful and I will not go back. The food was horrible and the service was poor.
The service was patchy, our server went missing for half an hour which screwed up the order of our food and drinks. My ribeye steak was as rare as it gets, and I asked for a medium; I couldn't eat it and asking for a replacement was not an option due to lack of service. It appears the restaurant was understaffed.
It just wasn’t good. Very disappointed. Server wasn’t good. Food was ok.
When we first enter the restaurant no one greeted us, no hostess at the front , employees just looked at us , no how are , how may help you nothing.
It was very hot, nats flying around - and perhaps a bit under staffed. Not what I was expecting compared to the NYC location.
The food was wonderful! The front door greeters were wonderful. It was our anniversary, and a very special one. We asked for a booth. They put us in a solarium type inside porch with uncomfortable chairs, no ambience at all, and the temperature was hotter than outside which was 90. The sun was beating in the windows. A disappointment. The restaurant did not want to accommodate a friend's special diet restriction; therefore, she did not eat at the restaurant. What she wanted was a simple shrimp cocktail! Next, the service was poor. Requesting salt/pepper, parmesan cheese, and spoon with coffee was greeted with long delays and often omitted altogether. The restaurant is too expensive for poor service! Will not be back.
