Exceptionally average - overpriced for quality, great server though
Website needs to be fixed regarding their tasting menu (confusing and not on standard menu) and their menu overall needs to reflect capacity for what can be half-portioned for children. Staff made us feel rushed despite us being there at an off time, was annoyed by requesting still water and getting refilled with tap. Also: bread. Overall it was just ok. Great location but 4 out of the 7 people in our party were not pleased with their entree and one person had to send theirs back. The Short Rib was chewy, chicken parm was just eh, striped sea bass special was also just eh. Spaghetti and Meatballs and rib eye were good though. Apparently the menu changed regarding the lamb chops since July 19, 2024. The meal is now 3 lamb chops instead of 4, and mainly fat.. and they were asked to be cooked well done. The server failed to mention any changes. Hubby desired the meal and was the sole purpose of the visit based on this meal and great service on 3 prior occasions. We frequent the restaurant (usually during lunch for business) and have always received excellent service, however, the manager seating us on Saturday evening, August 2, 2024, was rude. She did not greet us and told us we had to put our order in now. Instead of escorting us to our seats, she rushed ahead and left the menus on the tables. Based on her short comments about the kitchen hours and then leaving us at the door to seat ourselves she was not happy that we chose a 9:30p seating. The air conditioner wasn't working and it was incredibly hot. I wish they had let us know when we entered the restaurant. The manager was very kind and did comp our meal.
It was 95 degrees out and about 100 degrees in the restaurant. They had the doors to the patio opened. Not a pleasant experience.
There were bugs all over the place - flying around everywhere. So exactly appealing when you are dining somewhere
The music was so loud we couldn’t talk in a conversational tone. It was Mother’s Day not a night at the club. The chef had left for the day so dietary questions could not be answered. Food was on the salty side.
