I called ahead and asked about bringing children and they said “oh yes we are very kid friendly “ we got there and there was no kid menu and no kid cups so we had to order all their food off the adult menu which put our bill to over 600.00 we had 6 adults and 6 kids under the age of 5.
Going to a restaurant with a view of the harbor, I expected the food to be a little pricey. However, $35 for a very small unimpressive crab cake with a couple of shrimp, and $32 for a very boring scallops dish was very disappointing. Our cocktails were $15 each and were equally unexciting. I could have gotten as good a meal for half the price in Newark, DE where I live. We made a reservation a month in advance. When we arrived at 5pm the restaurant was virtually empty but we were seated in a cold closed in patio right next to the wait station. It wasn’t until I went to the restroom and had to walk through the entire restaurant that I saw other diners sitting in the beautifully decorated restaurant with low lighting, heat and sitting on upholstered chairs . Had a reservation for Christmas dinner, we patiently waited to be seated and we were on time. We got our drink order and were looking at menu. Then the waitress informed us that the stoves were malfunctioning and that they were closing the kitchen. . . . Great. Now I am scrambling to find a restaurant to feed my family. Thank You Bond 45 for a very memorable Christmas 2019.
Worst dining experience EVER. Made a reservation for Christmas dinner. Arrived at the restaurant and the hostess was nowhere to be found. The group of four ahead of us (who also had reservations) had been waiting several minutes. In fact, one of them went to find someone to show us to our tables. NOPE. We had been to this restaurant years ago for Christmas Eve and had a wonderful experience. We were really looking forward to a repeat performance. Unfortunately it was horrible from the start. Food was awful
Really disappointing experience. Service was slow and not welcoming. Food was mediocre at best. Ordered medium cooked filet and it was crispy. Waaaay overpriced in my opinion. Will not return.
A very long wait for dinner. Waited over 30 minutes for Entree with no real explanation
