The bartender was great but the area was not setup for her after brunch and she was behind as she also had to train two people. Not at all fair to her but she was friendly, funny and did her best to please. The food is way over priced for just mediocre. I order a $45 steak that wasn’t at all special and was not able to switch up any sides. Pay $45 and not be allowed to make changes to sides is ridiculous. We also had the bolognese, super underwhelming. The tomato buratta same. Very sad waste of money.
My group of 6 didn’t stay, not what we were expecting. The price for the portion size was off. Not what you’d expect from an Italian restaurant. Maybe we’ll try for brunch next time
Not on a Saturday night. I had reservations, still had to wait 30 mins. We ended up just taking a table outside after we were being taken to a table inside but someone was already sitting there.
Food and service were subpar. Not a bad place but over-priced for the quality and experience.
Was there last Saturday to celebrate a friends birthday, I ordered one of their specials, a dish with scallops; they ran out, and instead of asking me what I wanted, they gave me something else. It was dry azz Chilean sea bass with broccolini with roasted potatoes, it looked terrible, so I sent it back, my sister had to send her food back twice too! The good thing is they comp me and my meal sister's after we ordered the scampi.
The server was awesome, the place is cool but the food was really, really average. They were out of both the lobster and the tomahawk. I have never seen a circular serving of chicken parm before so that was new. Portion sizes were good and we did manage to feed 8 people with some drinks for around $500 which is very reasonable. In the end the positives simply didn't outweigh the negative which is the most important part of dining out...the food just wasnt very good.
Honestly, I’m not sure how this place is in business. The food was terrible—like worse than hospital or nursing home food. We ordered ravioli, filet mignon, and a few sides. The food was tasteless and cold. The mashed potatoes in particular was an atrocity.
Food was good, but service was horrible! It took over an hour and a half to get our food, and even then they forgot the salad one person ordered, another person did not even get food and good luck on getting a soda or iced tea as they never took a drink order. Nice place and good food, but needs to revisit the service aspect. Until then, avoid unless you have an exceptionally long time to wait around for your lunch.
When we checked in for our reservation the hostess told us she didn't know how long it would take to seat us because they had more people than expected. I asked what was the point of making a reservation and she just put up her hands and said she didn't know. Finally we sat down in the bar area because they did not have a table inside or outside for us. The waitress maybe had too many tables she was serving, it took her 15 minutes to see us. She took our order, brought our drinks, and we never saw her again until after we fi... read more
