Commitment is missing to help the customers. Brian did not show the commitment to fix the problem and helping us as we needed him. When you call him he does not answer the call after sending you the email for clarification. His communication is way bad and he needs to improve the way he operates with the customers. Brian does not work with the customer until the end, it would be helpful if he improves his collaboration. The level of customer service is at the low level. I was extremely frustrated to arrive and close on the loan, only to be told after waiting there for 2 hours after signing all the paperwork that there was still a last minute thing added that was not included and was not an easy fix. There needs to better communication on needed paperwork, for any active duty members who are deployed. If the timelines between the seller, builder, and financing team would have been on the same sheet of music. Completion/ closing dates constantly changed (sometimes the day before the date we were given), causing an unnecessary hardship on my family. This whole process with KB literally took out all of the excitement of the new home buying experience for our family. Definitely the worst home buying experience we have ever had.

Mostly, better communication. Brian is a nice guy, but we received multiple requests for information that we had previously sent him and JoAnn. They need to communicate better between the two of them. Throughout most of the process, if I didn't reach out to them we wouldn't hear from them. It was a very frustrating 5 months. At the end we went to an outside lender, Tracy Mock, who had us approved in three days and we came very close to finishing with her vs KBHS Home Loans.

In my experience in purchasing my new home, the construction side went very well. However with the loan process, it was very frustrating, it started off well, however when we were within 30days of closing, things took such a turn for the worse. The communication could have been better, finding out things at the last minute, made it challenging to get the documents in a timely manner. We closed at the very last day before I had to make a decision to purchase or move elsewhere. It could be better

Clear communication throughout the process especially receiving late or at the last minute requests fir documents. A list is needed to collect all documents with specify due dates not “at your earliest convenience.
