If I could get zero Stars I would New Branch Cooper City Florida big building only two tellers one that always seems to be doing something else I try to go as infrequently as possible and do my banking online I never have waited less than 20 minutes have to withdraw all my money out not worth the trouble or aggravation
Absolutely the worst financial institution I’ve ever dealt with. BrightStar Credit Union offers terrible customer service, high fees, and zero real benefits. Nothing about this place feels like a true credit union — it’s just a bank façade pretending to care about its members. I strongly believe this institution should be audited by the appropriate banking regulatory agencies for their unprofessional practices and lack of transparency. Stay far away
Bright start credit union literally took money from my mom’s account without authorization and has yet to return it. When she contacted customer service, she was met with endless transfers, rude representatives, and zero accountability. It’s been 4 months since the issue started, and every time she call or goes to the bank , they promise to “investigate” and “get back to her,” but nothing ever happens. Awful! I’ve been trying to get a hold of a representative on the phone for 10 days now and it’s always an automated system saying someone will call me back by close of business day, but 10 days later I’m yet to receive a phone call.
Worst Experience ever. I just open and account was speaking with lady name Kerlene or Kerlyn. She was the most so unprofessional. I was asking her a question and she didn't know any of the answers which I didn't mind her constantly putting me on hold to ask someone the information but soon as I asked to please speak to a manager because she was being so rude she stated flat out no and told me she is done and said I am done with you again and hung up the phone. Not true to helping. Just like any other org. People on phone friendly but powerless.
Jackie, the Customer Service Representative took the time to identify the root cause of my issue today and rectified the problem to prevent it from occurring again in the future.
