Great service and food in a typical New York diner environment
Really fantastic food and experience. My son had the giant hot dog - he has a very large appetite and was able to finish it, my daughter had a cheeseburger and said it was really food, and I had the Pastrami Rueben and it was fantastic. We also had the chocolate cake and chocolate chip cookie and they were awesome!!! We were eating before a Broadway play - our reservation was for 5, and it took us an hour and half between being promptly seated for our reservation, dinner, desert, and payment.
Been here several times in the last few years and it's always fun with delicious food. Diner proportions. Chicken pot pie is enormous and sells out every night, supposedly. Deserts, drinks, this Diner has it all. Prices are also reasonable for New York. Great pre and post theater spot.
Food quality very good and portions size is more than enough for two people on all dishes served.
We selected Brooklyn Diner Times Square as we had a show to attend in the area. Service was very fast and attentive. Food was delicious. As it was also a birthday celebration, our server surprised us with a round of champagne at the end of our meal!!! I can see why they are so popular. Will def go back again.
This restaurant is reliable, a good value, and offers a good selection. I would describe the type of food as comfort food., well prepared, but not over done. The service is excellent from the greeting at the door, to a great server, and a thank you as you leave.
What can I say, We’re in NYC for our honeymoon & also was here for thanksgiving, we’re from Ireland and wanted the experience and I’m delighted to say it was delicious. I booked this table from my home and had a reminder to see if I was still coming (brilliant) we arrived about 10/15 minutes early and we were seated right away. I love this place! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food is really good and plentiful. I usually share a sandwich for lunch. All the options are delicious. It’s the perfect place to go before theatre. You can be in and out quickly or take your time, as you please.
Night out with family. Wonderful experience. Our waiter, Keith, was outstanding and made our evening in NYC all the more enjoyable!
