A nice little place in the Times Square area to grab a good meal. Menu is varied, but not overwhelming. Portions are moderate to huge, dependingbupon what is ordered. The chicken pot pie is outstanding!! Chunks of chicken (lots), plenty of peas and carrots, a savory sauce, all covered by a flaky puff pastry. This is a HUGE meal in and of itself!! The best ever. The chicken noodle soup is made from scratch, and has enough chicken to make it a meal if a bowl is ordered. A cup is a really nice appetizer. The double burger is re... read more

Our party had two kids under the age of 10, and it turns out they are extremely picky eaters-I was worried that their mom wouldn’t find anything for them without it being a headache, but our waitress Tonia was a great help. She pointed us in the direction of their kid-friendly grilled cheese sandwich and chicken parm, and the two adults thoroughly enjoyed the crab cake sandwiches. We all left with full bellies, so all was right with the world. Thank you!!

We arrived earlier than our res and that wasn’t a problem. We had a salad plate and a pastrami Rueben which were delicious.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Brooklyn Diner. It had something for everyone and our server was great! We loved it and so did our grandchildren. And being so close to the Theatre District was a bonus!

The food is well above-par for a diner, and their signature pastrami looks particularly good. I had the veggie burger which was squeezing out of the bun a little and the fries aren't crispy, but everything tasted fine. The highlight was that we didn't feel rushed which was surprising given we were in Times Square, but that may be expected when you're paying a little more for your meal.

I was very pleasantly surprised by our dining experience at The Brooklyn Diner Times Square. I learned that it was a very old establishment with lots of history. The menu was filled with delicious options for comfort food at decent price points. I had the pastrami reuben and it was fabulous. My daughter had the cheeseburger and it was also delicious. The service was friendly and we were in and out in time to get to our Broadway show. I would recommend this to diners looking for an authentic New York diner experience.
