We came early and they seated us. The waitress was great! The food was good. We really enjoyed this restaurant. Since it was Thanksgiving we had their Thanksgiving platter and their macaroni and cheese. Their Kudgel was delicious.
Can't wait to go back!!! Great food....the service was excellent.....fabulous for any occasion 😀
Very good selection of “comfort “ food. The pot roast was delicious as was the noodle kugel
We came from Australia for holidays and my wife's always wanted a proper NY diner. We went to some downtown which were great and this one in the heart of midtown is fantastic also, albeit at Midtown prices. But fuggedabout, we were in NY so the fact it was expensive was outweighed by the huge portions, fantastic service, great food and buzz. So if you're on a budget, you won't be in Midtown eating anyway so let loose.

We had the best waiter! He was enthusiastic and a pleasure to have to serve us. The food was really good and the Chocolate cake and Coconut Cake delicious! Thank you Brooklyn Diner!!
Had a fun time. 5:45 PM seating and plenty of time to walk to Radio City Music Hall by 7:30 PM. Would be nice to have more space at entry or inside to park disability equipment, but ramp up from street was fine. Good cheerful and relatively speedy service. Good experience. Food as expected at a diner. I let them know in advance I'd be riding a scooter and could walk to table. Always good to do in NYC as many restaurants have tiny entries and are narrow between tables.
The food was very good. I do recommend that you make reservations because it got very busy fast. Will go again.
This was our first time eating at the W.57th St. location. We usually go to the Times Square location. Food was very good. I had the burger(cooked perfectly), my wife had the chicken pot pie which is huge, but good. Service was attentive. It is noisy I'll say that. The two person booth is tight, not much room to take your coat off. For a quick meal its a good spot. Their milkshakes are outstanding.
