Extremely overpriced for what it was! A hot dog for $25?? We had three meals, a milkshake and a coffee and it was $150....
Disappointing tourist trap. Passed this "regular" looking diner so decided to go in for breakfast with wife and kids. $20 breakfast entrees and No Kid's menu started off the disappointment. Food was okay. Coffee was okay. Place was crowded. We made reservations a few minutes before entering and people who entered right behind us were told 30 minute wait so they left. I wish we did. Not worth it by any means.
I hadn't been to the Diner for a number of years. I was surprised they only open at 8am - a few people were waiting, like me. I wanted an everything bagel but they didn't have them, only plain. Took quite a while for the bagels to arrive, too. Hard to get our waiter's attention, for coffee refills, and had to ask for the check three times.
The food is just not good enough for the exorbitant prices - better to go to an ordinary diner...
A bad recreation of all the lost diners. Over priced. Keep on walking.
My omelette was extremely dry. Most dishes came with fried polenta. My dining companion didn't enjoy them either. We had to ask for salt and pepper and our server never asked us how our meals were. I expected to pay high prices in an establishment that draws tourists but I expected better food and service for the money.
Had bkfst reservations for 6; got a small booth with 2 chairs in aisle. Food was not hot and omelets were overcooked with minimal filling; had to ask for butter and syrup for $17.00 pancakes and toast. Have been here in past but will not return.
I come here every year around this time for the past 20 years...it has always been great. Unfortunately, this past visit I was extremely disappointed in the sandwich I ordered. It had maybe 3 pieces of pastrami on it.
Low quality food for the price and very poor service. Overcrowded as tables are one on top of another with no space to move. Over all very expensive for the unattractive tasteless sandwich that we were served. I would never go again nor recommend to a stranger, let alone to a friend.
