The Brooklyn Diner was a big disappointment food was very average. It was very crowded and noisy
Way overpriced. Hundreds of better options nearby.
Over rated, and overpriced. Disappointing. Not suggested for older folks or those with small children.
Everything was going very well up until dessert my boyfriend ordered the triple coconut cake I ordered the cheesecake. Both of which were delicious until my boyfriend bites into the cake and pulls out piece of rubber glove from his mouth 🤢. The glove was some how baked into the cake. I Will never go back I spoke to the manager they apologized they took care of the bill but it really put a damper in our night
Waiter gave us poor service, didn't write down our order, messed it up, brought me raw salmon and said it always looked like that....what happened to treating the customer with respect? We won't be returning. He didn't deserve the tip we left him.
Mediocre food with terrible service. I’ve been in the service industry for many years and was incredibly frustrated by the severe lack of attention. When asked if I could have some Khalula for my coffee, at first he didn’t know what it was and then told me they were out. I could clearly see the bottle from my table. Way way overpriced. I ordered a piece of coconut cream cake and it had layers of commissary (pre packaged ) lemon curd in it. It tasted like metal. Strange that my waiter said nothing when he saw I had left 99% of the cake on the plate. Cole slaw was terrible. My husband ordered a tuna sandwich on challah which he said was OK. Service was less than mediocre. Will not return.
I used to frequent the Brooklyn Diner. I ordered a medium rare hamburger and it came out incredibly dry and overcooked. In all honesty, probably the worst burger I've ever had so unfortunately I have no plans to ever come back.
Awful, just awful. If you are in for having some good breakfast, don't try this place. My entire plate was cold on arrival. The waiter never cared to ask about my food. Challah bread isn't even true challah for a "Jewish" spot. To make things worse, it's overpriced for it's quality and service. McDonald's beats this, no joke.
