We liked this place do much we ate there twice. Great menu, whether you prefer sweet or savoury. Lovely atmosphere. Old school NYC. I visited NYC ten years previously and hunted this place out as it was the only memorable meal on that trip. Didn’t disappoint and will return on my next trip...however far away that may be. I look forward to it!

J’avais réservé une table côté fenêtre. D’abord on me fait patienter car pas de table de libre. Après on essaie de me refiler une table à l’intérieur bien moins placée que celle demandée. Service impersonnel.
Meal and service were pleasant enough — fun selection of foods. Asian chicken salad used to be better. Too vinegary this time (have been to both locations in the past). And although our waitress was lovely and prompt, our only complaint is that we paid in cash and had to ask for change (I don’t think we were going to get any before asking, as it was relatively close to the bill including a tip) — we left without getting the change as we had a curtain to make. BUT, the coconut cake is to die for!
Best breakfast in Midtown by far! Whenever we visit NYC, this is the place for fantastic breakfast.
Upscale diner experience with top quality traditional NY diner fare. This is the fourth time we go and all the food is always delicious, including desserts. Very reliable.
Went here before a concert at Carnegie Hall. We were surprised by how good the food was (expecting Jersey diner food). The hummus plate was delicious, veggie burger outstanding, and my husband’s salmon burger outstanding also. We will definitely go there again next time we have tickets to Carnegie.
