We got there 8 minutes late for our reservation and waited an additional 15, the host forgot we made a reservation but was very kind and apologetic when we told him again then seated us right away and gave us champagne on the house. The food was very good but too expensive for what you get...typical of a big city. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious though, and worth every drop!
Great place for breakfast. Glad we booked as it was really busy and there was a queue of people waiting. Obviously very popular. Service and food both excellent.
Those pancakes are a-ma-zing
Went Saturday morning after Thanksgiving! Place was crowded. The hostess at door was great he was serving hot chocolate to those who were waiting outside. Ummmm well 30.00 for a plate of pancakes was a little much and they were cold!!!!
We always go to the Brooklyn Diner before a concert at Carnegie Hall, and we always order the chicken pot pie. We were seated at the exact time of our reservation, the staff was very courteous, and the service was prompt. What more could we ask?
Thanksgiving
Very expensive but food was good. I had a pastrami sandwich and my daughter had a ceasar salad. The bill was $65.
Fun place, great diner ambiance, excellent service, food was very good, large portions. There were 5 of us and we ordered everything from the chili, pigs in a blanket, eggplant parm, chicken pot pie, chicken soup, burgers, fries and hot chocolate. Everything was great. The service was outstanding, the waiter was as good if not better than at any 5 star steakhouse. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the whole staff. Will definitely go back when in NYC.
11/21/18. We dined after seeing a show on Broadway. The food was good, and the service was outstanding. We arrived one half hour before our reservation and were seated immediately. Our server saw how much our son appreciated the bacon on his burger that he brought him more, no charge. Just all around friendly and good. Made us feel at home.
