We actually booked the wrong location by accident and went to the Brooklyn Diner on 43rd Street for breakfast. The manager was so wonderful and accommodating. He sat us right away. Considering the location and other like restaurants, this was a very good experience. We were seated promptly and the waiter did a great job - the chicken pot pie was fantastic!
Classic American diner
We make this a go-to stop whenever we visit NYC. Food is consistently excellent. The dessert menu used to be better, but what the do offer is excellent.

Fresh and tasty food in a clean and cozy diner. Matzoh ball soup was excellent.
Dinner before the symphony at Carnegie Hall.
We first visited on (our first) a trip from London over 20 years ago (and we’ve been back every time since) and it’s always as good as the first time!!
