He tried to tell me I had him "confused" with another vendor - which was never the case. Rich from CT Basements was punctual, informative and very respectful. I was abused and harassed - and they never actually came to the house for the estimate!!!!! The technician arrived on time and did most of the things I had expected him to do. I've marked the tasks he actually did. 1) Clean the sump liner 2) Check and test the pump - technician did this 3) Check and clear the impeller 4) Check and test the float switch- technician did this 5) Check and test the electrical connections- technician did this 6) Check and test the controller (if present) - not applicable 7) Check and test battery backup pump, float and battery (if present) - not applicable 8) Inspect the foundation- tec... read more
The warranty states including the pump. I attempted to have him out to diagnose an issue. He told me it would cost $265 for a representative and $595 for a pump. I was under the impression the warranty would cover it. After bringing up the problem, everything has been fixed and now I am happy. I hired them to waterproof by basement with a lifetime warranty. I had water coming from the flooring. The water was coming from where they had done work through the system.

Unfortunately, the member's problem stems from a pump that predated the Budget Dry system. This pump could not handle the volume of water that was experienced in the spring's rains. The pump needs to be discharged onto the lawn as opposed to into the waste line. Budget Dry even offered to make this repair to a pump and basin we did not install free of charge.
