Thought the menu was very limited and pricey for what you were served. Obviously, it is the location that keeps them in business.
We have always enjoy coming to Cafe Fiorello before a concert or opera, but were disappointed this time. The glazed tuna was just smothered on top with a thick sauce with unappetizing lentils underneath. The pizza was larger than previous, but certaintly not worth the high price of $25.00. Everything has gone way up in price, but the quality of food has gone down. We rather go to Cafe Boulud and enjoy fine dining that is tasteful and worth it.
This restaurant is a mass market business..... "Attention Kmart shoppers " If you like being treated that way... by all means it is your restaurant, however with a pair of Lincoln Center tickets running $ 300, I do not care to have the restaurant spoil my evening
As always we love going to Fiorello before we go to the theater or ballet. However the last few times.....we have been bummed. The bread was stale, the pasta was over cooked and gummy and the service was so slow. I don't think we will be going back again for a long time. On a brighter note.....we always try to hope for the best.....It has the perfect location and is a great looking restaurant and you can never go wrong with the pizza which is super!
