We got there early to make a curtain--for some reason, our group of 6 waited a long time for menus, for food, and forever for dessert. Coffees came and cooled before dessert arrived; melted gelato, etc. Waiter was pleasant but harassed. We got out in time, but it was not a good experience. And the noise level was atrocious. Tables too crammed together.

Been going to Café Fiorello for many, many years and we always say it is like a circus. Don't expect a romantic atmosphere. Very noisy with people on top of you. Silverware went flying on the floor several times and water knocked over on a customer. However, service is usually always very good and so is the food. Menu changes numerous times but they keep the staples. Miss some of the old entrees but can always find a replacement.

We appreciated the staff's flexibility when all of our guests did not show up. The food was really excellent. My fish was expertly prepared and very delicious.

Outstanding bread - too good to.resist. Very good food and service. There is a 'busy' feeling most evenings, but that's to be expected across Broadway from Lincoln Center.

Our experience was, once again, exquisite. Service friendly and attentive. Food great — we started with fried calamari which was good and sauce tasty. But tastiest part of our dinner was the main course, especially my seared tuna tagliata — fantastic. Best I've had for a long time! Same applied to my wife's lobster salad thou it was less surprising for us lobster lovers. For desert we ordered one piece of tiramisu and cappuccinos. The cake "slice" was ... HUGE ... So big we were very glad to share it. Tiramisu was moist and ... read more

Went for dinner before show at LC. There was a line but we had a ressy and were escorted right in, past the line. The maitre d' remembered we were celebrating our anniversary and poured us each a glass of prosecco as he walked us to our table (though he called it champagne). The restaurant was very busy, but we had a great table waiting for us. We were quite pleased. We ordered three items off the anitpasto menu and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot to start. Our waiter was great, although he (attempted) to correct my pronunciation... read more

Good before Lincoln Center. A hectic mob scene. We happened to have an outstanding waiter. The food was surprisingly good for a consistently crowded, commercial kind of restaurant. Prices were outrageously high, wine included. This is not gourmet dining, but is was a decent though overpriced meal before theater.

The veal parmigiana, which is a heft veal chop bone in that is flattened out, fixed up with the light breading and the incredible marinara sauce, and served on a huge platter.....better to split for two people.....promise you won't leave any. The bread and antipasto is a great start as well.....guys at bar which also serves up great antipasto plates are great.....great place for a Texan visiting the Big Apple
