We had to wait so long for service to take our order, even though there were not many people there. Then it took forever to actually get our food. We had to ask another waiter to tell our waiter when we wanted the bill. Food was good - not amazing; Prix Fixe was worth it - fair pricing.

Been going there for years as a family, and over those years watching portion sizes go up and down. Well the artichokes are one person sized now, and served up rather roughly - just on a plate. The pizzas had gone back to big but are now again small - one person size. No more iced tea refills in a carafe. Well that's a moan about our dinner. The place is unchanged in ambience, except a wall has been taken down. There. I guess this was simply a quantity review!!
Cafe Fiorello is always a perfect choice for almost any time of the day. It has great selection of food, excellent choices from thin crusted pizza to a fish or steak. It has extensive choice of veggies, good wine list. You can never go wrong at Cafe Fiorello.
post-ballet pizza and lovely salad and sorbet and I had a Bellini, delightful. And my credit card was NOT stolen this time (it has been before).
We were attending the MET 50 Anniversary Gala at Lincoln Center that ended after 11.15 PM! The Fiorello staff understood our delayed arrival, gave us our table and really helped to make us enjoy that unforgettable occasion! we also saw they were friendly and warm with all the post theatre commensals who arrived even later after us!
Visited the location for Sunday dinner around 7 PM withe my wife. Had not heard of the restaurant but took a chance. Entire meal was excellent. Italian Wedding soup was great as a Starter. We ordered five or six different dishes just to see how it would turn out, and all were great taste, quality, and quantity. Without doubt would return next time we are in New York as its affordable, with good service, and excellent cuisine.
The food was good but a bit overpriced. Also, we were seated at a table in the back by the restroom and our server did not give us enough attention.
Great dinner. Every single item was wonderful. Went back for breakfast and it was excellent except the bacon was only fair.
