Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

Had a really great lunch on a cold winter day with a colleague from years ago. The Italian Wedding Soup was probably as good or better than any to be had in Italy...everything was great. If you can get a week day off for a lunch and matinee at Lincoln Center...this is such a great place and much less busy than evenings when people are rushing to make curtain. This is definitely one of NY's best restaurants!
I had not been to Café Fiorello in years so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the quality of the food, service, efficiency, and ambience had improved over time. My daughter and I were treated cordially and amicably by the maitre d', and given a quiet table in the back as I had requested. I had been concerned that allowing only 1 1/2 hours to dine might have been cutting it short, and yet our service, although not rushed, was efficient and got us to our performance with time to spare. Perfect pre-theater stop Always feel welcome there by the reception people as well as the wait staff.
The food is always great. In the past we were not always happy with the service but now, even when it is extremely busy, the service is excellent.
Nice food, Grumpy waiter... "Upselling" and we ended up with too much food. we should have not listened to him. Tables in from of restaurant very tight. Having dinner 8 inches away from others is too tight. Restrooms are very very cramped.....
I highly recommend this Lincoln Center eatery for terrific lunch and dinner gatherings before the show!
Food was great with the exception of the pesto ravioli which was luke warm. Service was on the slow side - seemed everyone dining at the restaurant was also heading to Lincoln Center for a concert.
Service was great! The notable antipaste was heavy and greasy.
The portions are large and easily shareable. The fennel sausage and caramelized onion pizza was amazing. And the chocolate mousse was dreamy!
