I love the food of this place, the service is very good, but the place have too many tables. They try to accommodate to many people at the same time, making a special moment of dinning a bit awkward with too many people around you. I alway use the place before of after going to the MET, but last Friday it was too crowded.

Had a pre-show dinner before the King and I at Lincoln Center. Crowded but vibrant and fun. Seated on time with the reservation. Promptly asked for drink and/or dinner order. Ordered drinks, a veggie app plate and dinner. Drinks were served promptly. Dinner came around 20 min later, but apps were forgotten. Said apps with dinner was OK so apps came out right away (apparently made but not originally delivered). I was cool with that and server comped the apps as the dish was late. Nice treatment and was not entirely expected. ... read more

We love the lasagna which has fresh pasta in the shape of a pizza. Share this for sure and order the vegetables from the bar. The Chianti is good.

Location makes Cafe Fiorello extremely convenient prior to attending the opera at the Met. That, however, is not the only reason to eat this restaurant. Service is most attentive, menu options are varied and desserts are tempting. We choose this restaurant because of the food and service before the location to the Met.

Great salads, nice vegetable and antipasto bar, great fish and pasta. Hot spot across the street from Lincoln Center. A bit noisy and crowded, but that's part of the attraction. Lots of fun, and we always enjoy it here.

A miscommunication between Opentable and the restaurant lost our reservation but they were very accommodating and found a table for us despite how busy they were. Our server recognized that we were a bit pressed for time and made it a priority to get our order taken and food served expediently. The seafood risotto was outstanding and the ravioli special as also excellent!

Chocolate hearts and red ribbons at each table and some menu specials made for a festive V Day dinner. Food was excellent overall. Choice of vegetable appetizers worked as a main course for this vegetarian, and ribolita the classic Tuscan peasant-style soup was excellent and satisfying although lacking the usual bread cubes. Desserts were huge - one should suffice for up to four people. Midway during our meal a very smelly person was seated next to me - would have ruined our meal but the staff was very accommodating and move... read more

Coming to Fiorello's Cafe for decades. Food is wonderful, just wonderful. Menu varied and a foodies delight. Great service, upscale atmosphere and environment. Past Saturday night, the bitterly cold one, front of restaurant drafty and cool. No other table was available so managed. Meal was delicious from artichokes giudea to house special lasagna. The only negative is that it is usually quite crowded and noisy negating any romantically atmospheric possibilities.
