Waiter was a bit surly at first but better after I had a "private talk" with him. I did not want the rest of my party to notice, so I took him aside. A smile and a friendly attitude costs nothing and when I dine out, as I almost always do, I expect that from people in the restaurant.

Excellent food, excellent service. Extremely crowded, tables very closed to each other, you can hear conversation, very loud, but food is very good that you really dont care.

If only the food were better.... We have sampled around 8 items from the all vegetable antipasto in our 2 recent visits: caponata and broccolini were very good; everything else was not praiseworthy. Seafood risotto was not exactly great , but it did have a strong lobster sauce taste. The breads are good, and the .service and professionalism of the place are evident.

A good choice in Lincoln center area but it is very difficult to carry any conversation because of loud noise when seated inside. IF weather permits, it is better outside...

Always fun when we come to NYC. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GOING TO A SHOW IN LINCOLN CENTER. THE PASTA CABANARO WAS SO GOOD
