We had a very good time at cafe Fiorello. My dining companion thought the food very good and i thought it was good. the service was outstanding-very nice servers -very welcoming and helpful. ithink its a good place to go before or after any performance near Lincoln Center. Ive had more outstanding food, but this was a good choice for after a film on a holiday weekend in nyc. the outdoor cafe looked very festive, but it was quieter inside..

My husband and I love Cafe Fiorello's. We dine there every time we go to the New York City Ballet, which is about 10x a year. It's the only place we dine when we go into that part of the city. The maitre d' staff are excellent. The wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The food is ALWAYS excellent. We try all the different things on the menu along with the specials that are always changing. We love it there and will continue to eat there as long as we travel into NYC for the ballet.

As review title states, this is a local favorite. Food is always good and the service is friendly and attentive. However, this restaurant gets very busy when the curtain goes up in the several theaters across the street at Lincoln Center. Then, service slows down. If you plan to go during one of these times, be sure to reserve your table in advance and to give yourself enough time. Try the antipasto, the liver, and the lasagna and if you dare, try the veal but be sure to share that dish- it is HUGE!

The food was delicious, but portions were much too large - they could easily have been shared. Service was prompt and efficient and we made it to the ballet with time to spare, having allowed 1 1/2 hours to eat.

The food is amazing, and after 8pm they have a late night pizza menu for those still hungry after a show at the Opera or Balet. Try their signature open-faced lasagna, but be ready to take home leftovers. You won't be disappointed with the food! It's a little pricier than I'd expect for the type of restaurant, but still a great treat now and then.

One of my favorite spots, especially before the ballet. My grand daughters FAVORITE restaurant.

Wonderful meal , good cooking, well presented and portion size not gargantuan but more than adequate. Our server was excellent, an Englishman in New York, attentive and friendly but managing his whole section well.

almost like a club- all theatre, opera, concert goers head in to Fiorello's for care and comfort. We love it. And with good weather, sitting outside and watching the West Side world go by is a show in itself
