The location accross from Lincoln Center is ver convenient. The food is excellent and the service efficient and friendly. Dining in close quarters with an exceptionally high noise level is typically New York, but, not the most relaxing.

Whenever I do go, I remember what a really terrific restaurant it is. The food is delicious and varied, the wait staff is nearly uniformly adorable, and the clientele is varied: beautiful people, movers and shakers, old friends getting together, multi-generational family groups, and, my favorite to see, little girls going to the ballet with their mothers or grandmothers. And the staff is equally nice to everyone. No, not the very best food in the city, but always something you want to eat and almost always good to eat. It's ... read more

Upon entering Cafe Fiorello about 5:45pm, we were warmly greeted and ask if we would like a quiet table? We were then escorted to a corner table, away from the hustle-bustle of an already busy bar. Our waitress was very prompt and after ordering wine, she was very helpful in making menu selections. Since we were both "wheat free" we had a few questions. She was knowledgable, personable and checked on our progress throughout the meal. Since we were on a deadline to get to the metropolitan Opera, our check was presented and pr... read more

Cafe Fiorello is ALWAYS good. This night all of us had colds but we had tickets at Lincoln Center so we had to go. We weren't overly hungry and wanted comfort food. Fiorello's soups are fabulous; the Italian wedding soup was a meal in itself. And great for what ailed us. Two at the table shared the special lasagna. That is always fun. And great for sharing. The service was so great; we felt much better after our dinner than when we first came in--good food and good times are the best medicine!

Fiorello and Cafe dell' Arte are our go to places for fabulous Italian food. We have never had a bad meal whether lunch or dinner, whether a group or just two of us and the service is first rate.

This was my first time at Café Fiorello but will not be my last. They were very accommodating to my food allergy and the food was delicious. Plus the location is great with it being right across the street from the Lincoln Center.

Caught it on a quiet mid-week evening when apparently there were no performances at Lincoln Center and had an especially charming and entertaining waiter. The food was bland and reheated. It was never truly great at Fiorello, but it seems to be worse in recent years. You don't go there for superb food anyway. It's all about the glittery view and the old school atmosphere. A relative visiting town wanted Italian and to stay on the Upper West Side. Since the whole neighborhood is more about family-friendly than serious cuisine... read more
