The food was good, great service and the restaurant was not noisy as it is sometimes at night. I noticed that people were not drinking as much as thy do at dinner and I m sure that helped the noise level,
Great food with exceptional service, perfect for a filling meal after catching a performance.
This is a great restaurant particularly if you are going to a Lincoln Center performance. I strongly suggest reservations as the restaurant does fill up. Light fare and full meals are excellent, pricey, but good value.
Fiorello is very convenient to Lincoln Center which is the reason we chose it for dinner. The prices are very high for ordinary pasta dishes. Portions are large and we could have shared a plate, which would have brought down the cost/person.
We got there early to make a curtain--for some reason, our group of 6 waited a long time for menus, for food, and forever for dessert. Coffees came and cooled before dessert arrived; melted gelato, etc. Waiter was pleasant but harassed. We got out in time, but it was not a good experience. And the noise level was atrocious. Tables too crammed together.
The service from Matteo and Federica was outstanding
Been going to Café Fiorello for many, many years and we always say it is like a circus. Don't expect a romantic atmosphere. Very noisy with people on top of you. Silverware went flying on the floor several times and water knocked over on a customer. However, service is usually always very good and so is the food. Menu changes numerous times but they keep the staples. Miss some of the old entrees but can always find a replacement.
We appreciated the staff's flexibility when all of our guests did not show up. The food was really excellent. My fish was expertly prepared and very delicious.
Outstanding bread - too good to.resist. Very good food and service. There is a 'busy' feeling most evenings, but that's to be expected across Broadway from Lincoln Center.
