Place was packed with happpy diners Saturday evening, pre-Opera. Last minute online reservation worked beautifully. Friendly, energetic, efficient greeting and service. Exceptional food. I've alrady recommended it to others planning a visit to Lincoln Center. which was visibile from our table, and just a 5 minute walk away.
food is always top notch, service excellent, usually go for pre-theatre, never make you feel rushed, they don't talk down to you when you have questions about wine list. reservations highly recommended.

When we arrived, we were shown to a table near the front, which was behind a glass partition. It was the perfect spot for us because it provided an area that was quieter and where we could converse. We felt as if we where in our own little room. The waiters could not have been more accomodating. All of us enjoyed our food.
We go to this restaurant frequently and don't wish to fill this out every time.
I have been several times at Cafe Fiorello and very often to dine or lunch with a person whom I had to talk sensitive matters. On my reservation I have asked to be seated at a table in which I could talk freely. Every time I have made that request, I have been satisfied.
What a nice menu for dining with a mixed group of vegans, vegetarians and carnivores/omnivores. There are not many places where everyone can have a great dish that suits their needs. Service is excellent and the place is charming. The location is a real plus for events in the Lincoln Center area.

We have been to Cafe Fiorello twice with the same friends. The wife is from Italy and really likes the place. We enjoyed it because we were with fun friends and the noisy atmosphere makes for a good party! The food is very good and so is the wine list. On the other hand we would definitely not go there for a romantic dinner, as the tables are crowded together and there's little privacy. Also felt it was somewhat overpriced, even for NYC.
