Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

if you are going to Lincoln Center you want to eat at Fiorello's. The wait staff understands the curtain time and they push to get your food served on time. Unfortunately the last two visits to Fiorello's have been rushed due to some undefined kitchen issue. But that shouldn't stop you from trying the lasagna or enjoying the sausage and peppers while you wait for the food and watch the crowds. And please don't pass up the vanilla/lemon meringue cake....absoutely the best. Get a reservation and leave yourself time to eat and ... read more
We arrived one hour early due to miscalculating the ending time of the Opera at the Met. They were more than gracious about our early arrival and sat us immediately in a back corner with booth seating. It was perfect and very comfortable. The meal was great, as usual. I had the t-bone lamb chops done to perfection! The waiters were extremely attentive and my water glass was never empty, which I love! We've never been disappointed at Cafe Fiorello. We always tell friends to go there when they are in the City. We drove from Bu... read more
I would recommend - great food but not ideal for those who are gluten free. The server tried to accommodate but those who could eat gluten definitely had better options.
We absolutely LOVED it. Our waiter found us the quietest spot, a small mezzanine off the main floor, and it was wonderful. Thank you so much.
Our table ( as requested) was away from the front door and waiting for us when we arrived at 6PM. The maitre D' was friendly and remembered my requests. Two in our party are vegetarians and there were several excellent choices on the menu for them. We got to the Ballet just in time thanks to an attentive waiter.
We LOVE Cafe Fiorello! The chicken and veal park is the best in NYC! Love the burrata and the vegetable antipasto too. Only criticism is that tables so crammed close together- not so comfortable sometimes.
Our party of three arrived for a 6PM dinner, and were promptly seated at a table near the bar. The tables are a bit tight, but not surprisingly so for one so close to Lincoln Center. We ordered a selection of three vegetable for appetizer; all three - roasted fennel, brussels sprouts, one other greens - were simple but highighted what these vegetables can be. Main courses were three different pasta, all happened to include lobster, which appeared to be the ingredient theme of the day. As in visits past, these pastas were don... read more
Delicious fixed price lunch with a nice glass of red on a cold winter's afternoon.
Brought my parents here for lunch after their arrival into town to get them some good Italian food (hard to find in the South!). It's an expensive bowl of pasta, but it sure is tasty; and, I think it's smart to come for lunch. It's not nearly so busy or loud. I loved my super thin crust pizza, too. The service is great here, though I do detect the slightest air of discontent when the table doesn't order any drinks or appetizers. Sometimes all you need is an entree, you know? Especially at lunch. If in doubt, go for the pappa... read more
