We were late arriving but were able to enjoy a delicious meal and be out the door in under an hour in time to make out concert. Our server was helpful, friendly and very efficient, and directed us to choices that would work in our compressed timeframe. We always enjoy our meals here, though you do sit quite close to your neighbors.
I took my granddaughter to see The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center and wanted a decent restaurant nearby, good for kids. This was it. It had a good menu for adults and served half portions of pasta for the children. It was expensive but the food was good and it is across the street from L.C.
Cafe Fiorello was an enjoyable part of my partner’s and my courtin’ days, back when it first opened in the early 80s. Then we overlooked it. Decades later, when relatives appeared from out of town and we needed a place to fit eight hungry people, we called and were told they could take us 6 pm. We've eaten here several times. The service and the food are always great. Very convenient when attending a Lincoln Center event. We'll certainly return.
Great food and the service was excellent! However, space configuration between tables is too tight!
~always a memorable holiday dining experience!! we've been coming here for the past 5 years & exceptional food & service every time!
The vegetable appetizers were delicious. You could have them as a main course. Everything was as good as it could ever get.
We arrived Fridat for a reservation at 10:15pm. Our food was served at 11:05pm. Two had salads and two prepared/cooked dishes. No fault of the server; the restaurant was very crowded, and at peak times (though I didn't know 10:15pm was "peak") they appear to be overwhelmed, with the kitchen unable to keep up. This is a shame because the food is good, the servers are professional and they do listen (my wife's Celiac) was tended to very well.
Our group of 6, including 2 children, dined here after Saturday Opera matinee. Waiter very professional & very sensitive to needs of the kids. We all enjoyed our apps & entrees. Reasonably priced bottle of Dolcetto quite a hit. An enthusiastic noise level enlivened the experience. All in all, a very nice evening across the street from The Metropolitan Opera House.
