After 30 years of owning dogs and having many different vets, this veterinarian stands out like a shining start. First off, Chelsea, one of the Techs, is absolutely fantastic. She is professional, caring, efficient, helpful and kind. I took my 11 week old puppy in for her first exam with Dr. Zanberg. Dr. Zanberg is fantastic!!! She examined my little pup, asked great questions, answered all of mine, and instilled great trust in both my puppy and me! The office is clean, spotless and runs like a well-oiled machine. I've been going to Calabasas animal clinic and holistic center for over three years now. I visited recently and a lot of the staff has changed. This review is specifically for Chelsea. She has been there from the beginning of my experience with this place and is absolutely amazing! Always goes above and beyond, is always friendly and informative and has a big heart. I'm baffled by the negative reviews regarding the front desk staff! I have an aggressive cat who requires quite a bit of special handling when it's time for nail trimming, and I have always found the staff to be super accommodating! I just now called to make an appointment, and the woman on the phone (so ashamed I didn't get her name) spent several minutes on the phone with me, calming my nerves and working with me to come up with a plan for my angry little bundle of fur. This Clinic was purchased by Holistic Veterinary Center several years ago and offers the best in Western and holistic medicine, but its greatest assets are the vets, vet techs and receptionists. I have had many animals through the years, and so I have seen my share of vet clinics. Calabasas Animal Clinic truly has the BEST people I have ever encountered. OK, I should have reviewed this place while Dr. Latos was still there, and it was pre-covid. It would have been 5 stars. I'm sorry I didn't. He got an offer he couldn't refuse and they offered 4 techs jobs as well. Unfortunately, the place is in Hollywood. So they are left with the fabulous Dr. Wotrobsky and I have had her work on my elderly (now gone) chocolate lab next door at Holistic, but Calabasas is short-staffed now and has an office manager who is not alway honest with clients (I'm the sister to a previous reviewer.... read more

We have been to Dr Kelly for acupuncture for over a month now. Our 14yo Beagle has seen wonderful results. My husband and I were skeptical of the benefits of acupuncture for our dog, but we can't deny that we've seen great results. Bailey, our Beagle, was unable to move without whimpering despite taking various medications. We began having tough talks with our vet and our kids. I did a lot of research before selecting a primary vet for Bubba. He's almost 16 years old and in the beginning stages of congestive heart failure. I've had Bubba since he was three months old and it was important for me to find a physician that would care for Bubba like he was their own. I was so impressed by the advice Dr. MacKinnon gave me regarding my beloved mainecoon cat. He has had terrible allergies and I needed natural alternatives to giving him steroid shots.
