The vets and staff really care about the animals. I brought in a rescue dog, and they were so loving and knowledgable. I felt the vet and staff really worked together as a team to help the dog. I liked them so much I am taking my own dog there now.
4.5 star update. We brought a puppy in for an initial exam and this visit was exceptionally good. First, we had originally scheduled a Monday morning exam but didn't want to wait over a weekend for the visit. We called early on Saturday morning, and they were able to take us later the same morning. Convenient. I can't say enough wonderful things about this Animal Clinic! On Monday morning, we found a stray kitten in the MIDDLE of the 101 freeway - bloodied, terrified, and with a broken hind leg. We took him to the closest animal hospital which happened to be the Calabasas Animal Clinic - we're so lucky that we found this place! I have been taking all my dogs here for many years (30). I have "always" experienced a knowledgeable staff, expert vets, comperable charges, and courteous service. These people care about my pets which is my number one concern. One of my dogs recently had leg surgery due to torn ligaments. I have all good things to say reguarding his treatment. I have gone to this clinic a few times when there has been issues with my two boxers and have never dealt with any one that cares my about animals than they do. The prices are fair and the treatment you get is far beyond my expectations. I highly recomend this clinic for any and all your animal needs!!!!!!!
"Gas Chamber" can we say dramatic? CONTRARY! to this client my experience was great here is my story : I have a 12 1/2 year old dog and he was very sick, we couldn't figure out I thought for sure we would have to put him down. I've been taking all of my dogs here since 1991. I used to live down the street so it was out of convenience, but now I drive the hour + because they genuinely care about me and my dogs. They know my habits and don't push extraneous procedures on me.
Friendly assistants, warm and knowledgeable vets. I know Dr. Kathy Jonokuchi from my kid's school. She volunteers as a science teacher. She is awesome and I wouldn't take my dogs to anyone else!
This is everything a small local neighborhood vet should be. There is the office cat that might say hello to you, if it feels like it. Friendly assistants, warm and knowledgeable vets. I would continue to go there if I still lived down the street. There are drawbacks because it is a small vet office.
