Once again, calder have shown me, its always taking. And jackpots are for favorites. The give aways and 80% Hispanics. The machines don't pay and are turned off. Once you win 200 bucks, it eat it all up. Not a great place at all

People like me that used to be VIP's before the pandemia, lost all rights to VIP after they re open even though they will not say it. First time I went back I lost money (nothing new) playing machines that I never liked before but no other choices since they had to remove lots of them out to make more space to maintain distances. Next I know the incentive that I was getting every week went down to almost nothing. Ok, so I just moved to Miami and after enjoying the Hard Rock, I thought I'd give this place a try. It's a mixed bag. Due to Miami-Dade rules, you can't have a drink, not even a soda at the machines with u. No smoking but there is an outside area with slots that u can smoke at, if u smoke. Well, after the Covid 19 kind of subsided, I figured I would go to Calder and try it out once again. The email that I got from them a few days ago, telling me that I was to receive $30 in Free Play was the deciding factor to drive there. Upon entering the place (it was very empty), I went to the Players Club. Upon asking for a replacement card, the nice lady informed me that the email was sent in error! Horrible place horrible customer service horrible players club personnel and they don't even reply back to you stay away from this place you will not win you will lose every time and they will not even reply back have the decency to reply back to you if you would like to donate go to Calder and you will be treated like a second-class citizen. I did Kassandra and of course no response. That proves my point about Calder.

The Buffet is fair, not anywhere as good as Fresh Harvest at Seminole Casinos or the Isle Buffet in Pompano. The meats at the carving station are not hot like they should be and often the meats are very dry. Employees behind food serving area not very friendly. Cashier, host and wait staff are good though. The only reason I go to eat here is because I get a invite often from a friend who gets the meals comped, otherwise I would not even waste my time eating there. The garlic bread and pizza are also usually cold.

Cashiers are very fucking lazy. I have lost thousands here. Sometimes I go to do a cash advance and they'll easily let me take out $1000+. Then sometime they're assholes and won't let me take out more than $500 and they'll say can we see your players card. Which they never asked for. Then they say it's "policy". Wanted to change some hundreds for $20s and the cashier said "we only change them to 10s, because the machine don't give 10s"that was definitely a lie because I do that all the time. I went to the buffet on Friday 5/8 which is $21.99 which is not bad. If you want a add ons it's a extra $15. So I added the twin lobster tails with tip added now it's over $40. My issue is not the price but if I paid $15 for 2 lobster tails separate and I can not eat them both why do I have to leave them behind. I understand not being able to take food from the buffet that's a no brainer. I was told by the manager they warn people not to fill up on the buffet to be able to eat all of the add on. Service at the bar was TERRIBLE..After several hours of enjoyable adult entertainment with the machines, decided to stop to for a nightcap before heading home at the bar.. Waited 5 minutes or more for one of the servers at the bar to at least acknowledge us...nothing... Let the manager know on the way out who seemed uneffected by the situation... disappointing to say the least...many more casino's in the area that would welcome our business...will most likely not be back.
