Good for Tiki lovers. I had to stand on the sink to adjust the wall unit air conditioner -- it was that close to the ceiling. My key card was disabled during my first full day. The rate I paid was over $220 a night without taxes. The staff was nice and the bar has a really cool tiki vibe. Free parking and no resort fees, either.
Poor The shower didn’t work, our room door didn’t lock, the floor tiles were cracked and moving under foot, our room was left open or burglarized during the day, necessitating a call to the police. Management was totally unconcerned by the security issue. The only good thing at this property is the bed was comfortable. Supposedly maintenance fixed all these issues but having to call them 4 times in 2 days was not reasonable. Disappointing Old and creaky bed, poor mattress, no microwave or breakfast. Room across from extremely noisy bar. People screaming outside our room until 1am. Close to event. Staff tried to suggest early breakfast places, but missed very convenient Starbucks.
