Bad Their was bed bugs and cockroaches !
Bed bugs and roaches I would not stay here again! The beds are horrible they sink in you can hear the spring of the bed everytime you move. The food at the restaurant was good and great for the price
I'm glad I got to experience The Caliente Tropics but wouldn't stay there again the room was not very clean and wasn't confident that the cleaning practices are up to Covid-19 code. I appreciate that they have kept the original tiki themed design on the outside of the buildings.
Disappointing Pool wasn’t cool at all, bed wasn’t comfortable, ac was super loud. Wallpaper was peeling.
During this pandemic my stay here wasn’t as awesome as it usually is Lacked super vision by the pool / lots of people off the street were hanging around the pool being super disruptive and it took several requests from the hotel to ask them to leave The pool and central to coffee and food spots
Disappointing The restaurant server, Brandon, was horrible. My fiancé and I went to the pool area understanding there was certain rules implemented because of covid-19. We were told we could not order drinks (alcoholic) unless we ordered food, which was no problem. We were also told we could not be served by the pool because of covid regulations. Rooms don't match with booking.com description The description of the room did not match the booking.com room details. Very disappointing.
Terrible experience at a hotel especially during C19. Rooms weren’t cleaned properly. Rooms haven’t rest been updated. Fit and finish of bathroom was terrible. First room we checked into had a bad faucet knob in the shower. They then moved us into a different room. Although everything worked fine, the shower cold and hot indicators were on the opposite sides. Also the grout was dirty, floors in both rooms were dirty. Nobody ever mopped or vacuumed. Completely unacceptable during C19. Pool area was nice.
Next time I’ll pay extra instead of saving a few bucks Check in is 4. Room wasn’t ready till 530. Had to go back 2 different times to see if the room was ready. Got to the room and the AC wasn’t working and it was 118 degrees outside. They did change our room to a upgraded room. Most likely will not stay here again.
