Old & Dated, Poorly Maintained Rooms. There is NO lighting to the walkway where you enter the room. It made it extremely difficult to identify the room number and locate the key reader. There is no carpeting in the room, just a concrete floor. Bathroom floor was dirty tile and the paint was peeling off the wall. All the electrical outlets were either damaged loose. Hotel had a nice tropical theme. The exterior was well kept and the landscaping plants fit the tropical theme.
Mediocre but nice staff and pool Gardener was loud with lawnmower and then blower for 2 hours mid morning at pool. I think the room was very average for $255. I paid then next day after we booked went to $130.00, I tried to get a reduced rate due to this, without success from hotel or Booking.com., leaves me with the feeling that I will explore more honest sites in future travels. Dump in the desert! Shower pull didn't work. Water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Air conditioner never cooled room even after 3 days. We awoke sweating in the middle of the night. Front office staff didn't seem very concerned or apologetic at all. A dump! Room key didn't work, shower didn't work and air conditioner didn't work (blew hot air) for 3 days! Terrible value for expense paid during BNP tennis event. Told from desk not to rent again until room maintenance was performed.
We enjoyed our first time stay in Palm Springs. Lots to do; look forward to investigating more! Need morning coffee and breakfast options. Restaurant was closed or closing each time I needed them. Private parties at the Reef left us with no evening drinking options. Office staff is fair but have no recommendations or cash to assist. Renovation was fair but incomplete; bath door is too long, no hanger in bath area,sink lights are so bright had to unscrew most of them. Table by the chair would be nice. The hotel was extremely outdated, and the pictures online were from 20 years ago. Nearly everything was horrible. This goes down as one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room was extremely dated. The bars, and restaurants at the hotel weren’t open when we got in, and weren’t really open the rest of the weekend. Inside the room it was warmer than it was outside, even with the air conditioner on. The air conditioner seemed to do nothing. The bed was horroble, and needed to be replaced. For the moon we spent, the value is just not there. Not likely we would stay there again. The property is in need of a complete renovation! Great location.

Okay Rooms are just old, with a modest amount of renovation. In season, you're really just paying for the location. Convenient location to downtown Palm Springs..
