This is a long overdue review from my side for Dr. Katharine Ball. She is one of the best and very hard working doctor . She is NOT in the money making business and did not push me for any costly treatments. She took time and effort to guide me while also understanding my needs and requirements before tailoring effective treatment. All my visits I felt her genuine concern and care. Her diagnosis and treatment was very thorough. I can always trust her with my skin problems. Thanks a lot Dr. Ball. BEST WISHES & KEEP IT UP.

Kimberly Schubert (RN) is the BEST!!!! She did my lips for me & I ABSOLUTELY loved them! It looked natural. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Back in December 2010 I noticed that a mole on my left shoulder had changed its' appearance. I went to Dr.Georgia Abrams, and she removed the mole, and sent it to a lab to learn if it was cancer. The lab determined that the mole was a pre-cancer. Dr. Abrams removed all of this mole on my first visit to her office. I had a follow-up appointment and the pre-cancer has not returned. Very very bad experience! Front desk and customer service is piss poor!!! Could not take me in because I am 10 min late! I asked how long is the exam time and I was told 45 min. I said so I still have 35 minutes... "oh no we can take you in we will need to reschedule!" I don't care how good the doctors, if your staff is incompetent or doesn't have compassion for patient/client care, your facility sucks!!!

This place is awful. My wife came here for a severe skin irritation. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic cream, but told my wife she would be left with permanent scars. My wife, thankfully didn't believe this and sought treatment elsewhere and within a few months her scars are completely gone. I reached out when they started sending bills with this concern and was told they would "look into it" and decide if they would do anything about her bills, but failed to follow up after having called multiple times.

Very nice office wonderful staff, I had a tattoo on my arm lasered by Kimberly. She was wonderful and did a great job. The results, however, were not what I had hoped. I was told that the tattoo should be gone in six sessions completely. I ended up having 16 sessions done over the course of a few years. It never fully went away. It is reduced by about 80% saturation, but it's still totally visible, just very light and faint, but still very much there. Stay away from this place! I have been a loyal patient of this clinic for many years and now I'm in trouble. A situation arose where I was forced to change the date of the visit. I didn't want to cancel the procedure, but simply change the day of the visit. First I tried to do it online, then I tried to call. Only on the fifth time I was able to talk to a live person. All my previous calls were answered by AI. And for all these "conveniences" I received a bill for $800! To say that I'm in shock is simply an understatement!... read more

I called 5 times over the course of 2 weeks, trying to get ahold of the front desk (or any human) to make an appointment. I called at different times of the day hoping someone would eventually pick up. It never happened. I called twice more and left two voicemail, and eventually was called back. I had a tattoo removal session today. It takes me an hour to drive to their office (2 hours total) for a 20 minute session. Initially, if I could leave -5 stars I would. I would like to start off by saying that this review is specifically for this office this very location, the other location of the California skin Institute is far and beyond superior in every way shape and form. So if you're looking for good communication, good treatment, and accountability. Please do yourself a favor and go to the other office. Avoid this office like the plague.
