I have a lot of respect for Dr. Noodleman but the office staff are a separate entity! They are the most careless and unprofessional crew I've ever come in contact with. The level of miscommunication between them with the doctor or any outside pharmacy is unbelievable! I needed certain skin spray and ointment in two different occasions and it had to go through doctor Noodleman's office crew. I saw Dr Ball at the Saratoga location because of some spots and bumps on my face. The staff was great, especially her assistant (I wish I could recall her name). Dr Ball was fantastic. Super friendly and efficient. She explained everything and actually took care of the spots right then and there! And although this is also a skin care practice but there was no pressure at all to purchase products or other treatments. I will definitely be going back there and highly recommend them.

Horrible customer service!! My mom had an appoinment unfortunately she wasn't able to make it, we called ahead of time so we can cancel our appoinment but how can we leave a voice mail if they dont even have there voice mail set up!! So unprofessional i call next morning to cancel at 9am since thats when they open i call, this lady answers says since we weren't notified in 24hrs there will be a 75 dollar charge. This review is for Kimberly Schubert. Never before have I written a yelp review, but I had to just for her. I found Kimberly at AgeDefy over a year ago and really wanted to get all of my tattoos removed. I had no problem making a new patient appointment with Dr. Ball for my annual skin check. Yes, it was three weeks out for a new patient appointment - that is understandable in today's medical environment. The person that made the appointment was helpful and courteous. I got to my appointment 20 minutes early. The front desk person was quick, courteous, and friendly. Dr. Ball saw me within five minutes of my arrival. The best office staff - and a wonderful NEW vibrant young caring gracious professional competent considerate kind beautiful dr. Ball ! What more do you want . No time wasted getting into the office with an appointment for this ca skin location- - ever. No waiting, no problems! Diagnosis and treatments - spot on. I had a horrible experience at the Skin Institute from begining to end. The office is run like a med spa, hard to believe there are real board certified dermatologists in there. Medical Assistants lack proper patient care ediquette, they do not introduce themselves to you, will not even look at you when they are talking to you. I had a very good experience with dr. Ball. She made a right diagnosis of my pretty rare skin disease and treatment was pretty helpful. She knowledgable and very nice person too.

Horrible office staff! I've been a patient for ten years but I'm done with Dr Colby and the CA Skin Institute! They push new products (likely from reps who give incentives) and then these products aren't covered by your insurance. When the pharmacy calls to get something else the doctor never calls back. I called three times and left messages with them. You never get a live person only a recorder that says they will call you in 24 hours. Well a week later my pharmacy and I call several times...I'm still waiting. Lousy lousy ... read more
