I was lured in by an ad in Sunday paper. It said looking to get rid of 2010 F-150 to make room for 2011. It was priced at $23,000. Was told only for a few that were in stock, no problem wanting a new truck anyways so, The salesman took me around and he was fantastic and friendly and honest sense I got from him. I am quite displeased with my Financing experience at Camelback. I was pre-approved thru my credit union and allowed the dealership to buy down the rate. 3 days before my payment was due I called the dealer and advised them that I have not received a statement, I was told they would look into in and call me back..."crickets" - never received the phone call. I specified a particular car I wanted and e-mailed it to three Ford Dealers. The best price quote came back from Camelback Ford so I made an appointment, When i got to the dealership I was told that they didn't have the car I wanted in stock but they had found one in Sacramento and I could sign a contract for that one. The price they came up with was $3,000 more than had been quoted. After a lot of negotiating, the price was brought down to a couple of hundred dollars more than the original quote. This car salesmen completely lied about my deal. We agreed upon terms initially over email. When I signed our "deal" at his desk, I asked him again to restate the deals. He did so and I agreed to them as they matched the aforementioned terms. We then sat around for three hours while they did the paperwork only to get in the finance room and see that he COMPLETELY LIED about our deal. If your focus is actually 11k a 72mo lease should be around 185/mo after taxes. If that is what you can offer me, I will take it. If not, it was nice talking to you. The condition in which they allow cars to be sold is DANGEROUS. I was lucky that I did not experience a blow out. After another dealership conducted a factory recall, it was noticed the steel belts on 20% of the inner perimeter of the passanger tire was exposed. They are ONLY interested in the immediate sale - customer service, communication and apparently, customer safety means NOTHING!!!
Came there for a used car. Had the car for 2 months until someone showed up at my door to give me my old car back. This experience was very unprofessional and could have been avoided if all your employees were on the same page. Finance needs to work on their customer service skills. The only person I spoke with that was even remotely friendly was Judith and, unfortunately, she wasn't handling the process with my car. the low ratings were for their disorganization and lack of professionalism.i was never sure whom i was actually dealing with--people were always scurrying around, i was not greeted promptly. Customer purchased a brand new Mustang GT. During the delivery process we received a limited edition California Special and the customer said he wanted those wheels on his GT. We replied that those wheels were only available on the CS package, but we could order a set for $1700. The customer balked at the price, saying it should be a free option.
It all starts when I needed a pick up truck. I started my search at Camelback Ford. i found a truck that was OK and started negotiating. we got down to a fair price and agreed to a few repairs to the used truck plus a full tank of gas. I was told it would be ready the next day (Monday) and that they need a check to hold it. I stupidly wrote them a check for the full amount and left feeling good. I was attempting to trade in my 99 Ford Expedition for something newer, Unfortunately, they didn't have anything I was interested in on their lot.
