I've had a pretty good experience at this club all the way up until about 2 months ago. I'm usually a visitor who pays for a day pass... I was interested in joining until Laura Gilbert (sales person) decided to send me an email black mailing me telling me that if I didn't join I couldn't pay for a daily pass... Making up some bull about policy that if I'm not with a member that I couldn't purchase a daily pass when clearly the policy is you pay $30 without a member and $20 if you come in with a member. It's a sad tactic from... read more

Business response:

Hi RJ, I'm sorry you felt you weren't treated well at our club. We are a membership club, and the $30 daily fee you refer to is not available except for out of town guests who may be staying at a nearby hotel. We would be happy to have you as a guest of a member, or as a member yourself, but Laura was correct about our policies. Thanks, John Smallfield, GM

I have found all the trophy wives in the Biltmore area. They're at the Camelback Village. I'm pretty young still. I'm in my 20s, and I'm used to being one of the most energetic, fit people in my group fitness classes. I showed up at the Village dance classes expecting this trend to continue. Nope. The standard age at the Village seems to be 35-50 years old, but it caters to the 35-50 year old MARATHON RUNNERS. I'm pretty sure that the dance classes are filled with ex-cheerleaders and professional dancers. The Yoga "students"... read more

Love the club. Tennis is great. People are great and it's a very social atmosphere. One downside is on the weekends it can get crowded and difficult to find a park. I think it's worth it and will continue to stay a member. Before I joined I read a review that said it's not just a club it's a lifestyle. I thought it was a pretty poxy review but now I have joined I understand what he meant and I completely agree.

I want to give the Salon at the village a big thumbs up. I was nervous to get my hair cut here, but I went for it and got the best haircut I've gotten in a long time. Kelvy is a wonderful hair stylist and a fabulous job with my crazy long, really thick head of hair followed by a pedicure with Rebecca. And did I mention that they give you WINE with you salon services!!!! A little known fact - you DON'T have to be a member to use the spa or salon! But membership has it's perks - you get 10% off!!

We love the Village! We only like children, however. The summer months bring in all of the younglings to play, so whether you're walking across the gym, in the locker room or to the pool... there will be half pints darting around you. Summon all of your patience to bare through your workout. The facilities are always clean and the staff is polite and professional. This place is definitely worth the high monthly membership fees.

Great gym. Great kids club if you have little ones of all sizes. Awesome spin classes, especially Thursday early and Sunday hour long class. Highly recommend the village even if you do not play tennis.

Always wanted to check this place out and I went as a guest with a friend. it's nice they have all of the amenities (pool, tennis, racquetball). Lot's of classes like yoga, Zumba etc. It was just so crowded even parking was difficult. Getting a treadmill was tough because they were all taken, so we headed to the weight room which was packed as well. I think it's a decent place but I really couldn't get much of a work out fighting the crowds. This was at 4PM on a Wednesday. Maybe if you can come midday it might be a better o... read more

I was a member here for about 3 years. When I first started I was paying 126 a month. Every year the cost would go up 7.00. After a while I had to get to my workout classes earlier and earlier because parking got to be a pain. The weight room is crowded and had to wait to use weights and machines. The last year of my membership I was paying 145 a month, too much for me. The facility is very clean. Thanks for the 3 years.

I had a manicure at village spa. Shirene Najm did a fab job. Well worth the $25. Ask for her!
