We have had a family membership at the village for over twenty years. As a result, we regularly receive day and week passes for friends and family. I am currently visiting my parents for Christmas and they will not allow me to use the week pass because I live out of state. This is absolutely ridiculous as they clearly do not value loyalty. I understand that they want potential members using the trial, but 20 YEARS of membership and they can't let a 25 year old girl use the gym for 45 minutes a day, ONE WEEK of the year. I a... read more

Business response:

After checking with our membership and front desk employees, we discovered that when you came in with the week pass our staff didn't know of your family's longtime membership with the club. Had we have known, we would have extended a complimentary one week pass. We have met with our front desk and membership staff to instruct them to ask a few more questions before just saying "no". Please contact our General Manager, Paul Apana, so he can have a complimentary one week pass waiting for you. Thank you for making us aware of ... read more

The facilities are nice very similar to lifetime fitness but with less space equipment classes etc. $1200 sign up fee and $175 monthly membership fee is overpriced for the market. compared to lifetime fitness who has the same amenities with more of everything and they are zero sign up fees and $100 monthly for an onyx gym and $62 for a bronze

Business response:

Kelee, We appreciate your input; however, we are definitely different from all of our competitors. The Village prides itself on building a lifestyle around fitness. We have monthly happy hours, quarterly free member parties, which include a 3-course meal with an open bar, as well as numerous social events designed to give our members the opportunity to get to know each other on a personal level. Our goal is to provide the best quality facilities and programs in a country club setting. As for the membership cost, not all ... read more

I just joined this club about three weeks ago. I have been there every day sense and love it. The people are super nice and the amenities are fantastic. We love the basketball court, the brand new updated workout equipment, and the great locker rooms. It is fun to meet and see people from your local community there. I would highly recommend this club to anyone

I am a tennis player in the courts and leagues at the village are phenomenal. They separated by level so every player can feel comfortable in their ability. The only drawback of the village is a high cost associated with it, but it does come with a five-star experience. Give it a shot if you have some money.

I absolutely love this place and have nothing but goodness to share the staff is very approachable, every thing is always attended to. I love that I can come in at the crazy hours my life gives and the food is amazing and always a bonus. I might say being an adult and have been coming for my past baby years as well, I must say the kids and infant centers are always a welcoming sight to see as well as all the activities they get to with the staff is always organized when I drop off my kids.

the village is a nice club. beautiful location, with camelback mountain as your backdrop. staff is friendly. good class instructors. cafe. spa. pool. even a bar. everything you would expect at a higher end health club. this location is very family and kid friendly if you're looking for that. it's a popular place, no doubt. for me, it's convenient to home, i can ride my bike there if i want. it's a bit pricey for phoenix, but there is nothing comparable with in a +/- 5 mile radius (although there are other gym options, just n... read more

Thank you for your feedback. This year we have limited the number of new memberships sold each month. The number of memberships sold are roughly the same number of members that have cancelled their memberships. We know the parking is a challenge, as with many other businesses in Arcadia, and we added valet to help as a fast and temporary solution. We are researching ideas for additional parking for a long-term solution. We do have a very strong basketball program at Camelback. These are paying members and we don't want t... read more

I have been a member of The Village on Camelback for nearly 10 years and love the classes, facility, amenities, staff, & equipment. My issue is with the predatory thieves who use the campus to steal valuables from fellow members. I had two gold & diamond rings stolen from my purse; irreplaceable as the diamond was in my wedding ring and I had it reset after my husband died 11 years ago. I know this is not an isolated event, another friend had a Rolex watch stolen at the Village. Management needs to post warning signs everywh... read more

We recently relocated to Phoenix & joined the Camelback Village Club. We LOVE it! There's so many classes offered from Zumba to Barre to YOGA to Pilates, Cycle, K-Circuit and more. There are several weight room areas to choose from. There's an indoor track. Lots of amenities including a tasty Cafe w/ lots of options, a lovely SPA, nice tennis courts as well as swimming pools. The Ladies lounge is lovely with everything you need at your fingertips, showers, make up vanity areas, and a very relaxing lounge area to recharge. I ... read more

I had been to the Village as a kiddo and loved it then, and recently joined as an adult - and i'm loving it even more now! Think spa experience + rejuvenating workout EVERY DAY! Yes, please! My favorite part beyond their amazing equipment, iced lemon water, and classes, are their locker room amenities. You guys, it doesn't get much better than this! They have daily lockers where you don't need to bring a lock (super easy to use), showers are plentiful with towels, shaving cream, razors (yes, razors), shampoo, conditioner, bo... read more
