This gym, pool and tennis facility is kept up well. The staff cares about the success of the club and the members are all there to just have a good time. I consider The Village one of the best components of my life in Phoenix.
Seeing that my last review for the Camelback Village was in 2009, I think it's way overdue for an update! Since that last review, my life has changed quite a bit... I've gotten married and gone from a single membership to a family membership. I have two kids, and in addition to using the gym for cardio, classes and swimming, I also take advantage of the Kids Club, the Cafe, a personal trainer, the spa, and most recently, we celebrated my 5 year old son's birthday at this club. I've been working out at the village club now over a year, most recently started taking advantage of the beautiful Spa services. I did lots of research on chem peels before making a decision in moving forward with the service. When I scheduled my appointment with Stacie their esthetician she made me feel most comfortable, walked me through the procedures pre and post expectations, results, and also provided me with her cell phone number in the event I had any additional questions after hours. I really enjoy the Village fitness gym. It is a fantastic health club and you get what you pay for. I have been to many gyms in my life and this is not just a gym, its a health club with many other benefits other gyms do not have.

Member since day one. State of art equipment. Great facility & mgmt generally ok. Great tennis facility & location.
Awesome club. Walked in and paid $20 for a day pass. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Outdoor pool great. Club clean. Highly recommend.
great gym, great location, great bar but the food & food service is piss poor. management just wont hire an experienced chef & supporting food service employees. until the café is treated like a restaurant, it will operate far below standard. get it together or close it!
How great to belong to this health club! My husband and I moved to the Valley last year and after scouting out the health and tennis clubs, we went in for a tour. RJ Heyer was awesome. Admittedly, we have since become close friends with him and are getting to know and be friends with other of the amazing staff there. No prior relationship, just great, old fashioned, exceptionally friendly and amazing customer service. We joined the same day as our tour. I'm a new member and have been taking advantage of a lot the Village has to offer. I used to work at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, and the amenities are quite similar. And an 1/8 of the cost. What really blew me away was a new trainer there named Rachel Miller. I was offered a small, but free to new members, group personal training class. She is a new employee there and her skills, knowledge, communication, and motivation was on point!!
