My mom didn't have a choice in her being sent here, there were no beds open in other facilities. I saw the reviews and I thought I would try to stay vigilant and continue to ask questions, but instead, I was pegged as a complainer and nurses started ignoring me and my mother. It is absolutely true what was said in the reviews, they seem understaffed and they will neglect your loved one. If you want your loved ones to be taken care of and have 24/7 care this is NOT the place to bring them to. The only good thing about this place is that it is fairly new and well decorated. Other then that it is a No NO. They are completely under staff. Most of the time, the patients are left on their own. Do not let the nursing desk at the corner full you. I was transferred from St Rose De Lima to continue with IV antibiotics treatment to combat a severe foot infection. I arrived at 8.30 pm and after confusion as to which room I had been assigned. This had a bed and TV and Internet that did not work, but no medical equipment such as IV stand or pump My personal effects were cataloged and then I was told to ring if I needed anything and left to get into bed. Place is fairly new so it looks clean enough. They may tell you they have this and that, but that is a crap shoot when you show up. They run out of basic supplies and no one has an idea when replacements will show. They ran out of wipes and don't know when replacements are coming. They ran out of bed pads and don't know when replacements are coming. The wound is dry and itchy? Bring your own cream. Not sure when the diaper supply will run out, but I'm sure that will be soon. My mom was in Hospice here. That daily staff have no clue what hospice entails. They need some end of life training. Thank God for Compassion Care Hospice staff that came in daily, I only wish I had hired someone to be there around the clock :(
