Care is the best animal hospital around. I am soo happy that I found them. They took great care of our doggie when he needed it that most. There was no wait time when we went in, they took us right back. Dr. Kelly Gellasch is the best surgeon and saved our Neko.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Care Frederick team. We had a doggy emergency yesterday and the end result wasn’t a good one but the care our boy received was excellent from start to finish. Although I initially had sticker shock, it was a good value and worth every penny. They do not gouge you or take advantage. I was grateful to have had access to them yesterday and will refer them to all my friends and family. Five stars. He crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully. ❤️

We have had to utilize emergency services for our yellow lab twice — once when he was 4 months old after eating something. Most recently, our 8 year old lab suddenly and rapidly declined. Unfortunately, our Hunter did not make it but we are forever appreciative for the care that was provided by staff at CARE Frederick. From the receptionist taking my call (in hysterics) where I could hardly speak, to taking my husband and our dog back immediately and to sending him home with a forever paw print for both of our kids. Thanks to the team at Care Vet Emergency Center, I now get to enjoy more time with my baby Princess. Words can't describe how satisfied I am with everything that took place once I got her in safe hands (after having a medical emergency). Outstanding practice! After having a hard time finding a local specialty surgery center to perform salivary gland removal on my pup, CARE Frederick fit us in within a week for a surgical consult and my dog had surgery a week later. Dr. Austin truly cares about her patients and the entire staff are wonderful. I highly recommend this practice over any other specialty practice in the greater Baltimore area. My dog Beau has recovered wonderfully, thank you CARE Frederick team!!!
Just wanted to thank all the great staff who took care of All Shepherd Rescue's foster puppy, Snickers! The staff was absolutely fantastic and certainly saved her life. Everyone we talked to was wonderful , they kept us updated every step of the way in her care. Special kudos to DrMCConnell and his staff and Amanda for being so patient with our calls and questions! Highly recommend! We are happy to report Snickers is recovering well ! 5 stars or more if we could!
