We just recently came in and got some bad news about our caring dog sarah and her being part of our family for 11 years and had to put her down.....They were so great and kind. Specially for my 2 kids and gave us time to say our final byes to our dog. I would soooo recommend this place for anyone having animal problems to come here!!!

I had my dog Zoey there yesterday for the first time and I cannot say enough good things about them. Zoey ate one of my girlfriend's bikinis and they were able to fit her in soon as I could get her there. Zoey is an aggressive and mean dog and the staff was patient with yet and worked with her on her terms. I would send anyone there. As a vet tech of 7 years myself, I have very high standards for the care of my pets and not only did they meet them, they exceeded them.
I can’t thank the people of Care Veterinary Center with helping us with the recent passing of our dog Chewie. We were devastated when Chewie passed away 2 weeks ago. We brought his body to the Care Clinic at 4:30 in the morning and the technician there was so compassionate and caring while my son and I said our last goodbye to our furry family member after being together for 12 years. Betty Louise gave us a scare for the 3rd year in row. Every early spring since we’ve had her she has required an ER visit. This year she almost died, and the diagnosis was determined to be toxicity. While we don’t know for sure, our best assumption is ingesting a mushroom or plant from our backyard. We are extremely thankful for the top notch care she received at CARE Frederick. Many thanks to Dr. Phillips and staff!
There are not enough positive adjectives for how grateful and thankful I am for the whole staff at CARE. The doctors, techs, receptionists all listened to my every word and concern with the utmost care and compassion. They explained the plan of action they believed to be correct for my 8.5 year old Bernese Mtn Dog who suddenly went lame. They made sure we understood what was happening. I would like to thank the lovely ladies at Frederick CARE Veterinary Services for taking such good care of the Barney today. I tried to clip his � today while he was in the bath and his refusal to cooperate resulted in a nail being clipped too short and blood everywhere because Barney is very helpful and likes to walk around as his foot is profusely bleeding. I came in for an emergency visit with a whippet with a severe compound fracture and I was taken in right away and I was seen imitatively and she was looked at and stabilized and this was on Saturday. Monday she had surgery and Kelly L. Gellasch, DVM did an outstanding job and now my whippet is home resting comfortably. The staff is excellent and was very helpful and I love this place! I would highly recommend CARE Veterinary Center!
