What You’ll Do

Birdeye is looking for a driven business insights professional who will play a key role in the reporting and forecasting of business activities in addition to providing key analytics in support

Birdeye’s global marketing organization. The role will be responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and communicating operational data to drive key business decisions and efficiency in growing the marketing team. The successful candidate shall be working closely with our international marketing leaders hence, he or she will be asked to work during US working hours.


Responsibilities

  • The BI Senior Manager / Manager shall provide reporting and analytics support for management to gain insights that are backed by data.
  • Successful candidate is expected to have excellent business acumen, quantitative and technical skills, and can speak intelligently about the company’s strategy and help us achieve operational excellence.
  • Provide reporting and analytics support to entire UK organization, the global BDR organization, and the broader Sales organization.
  • Monitor and manage key revenue and marketing funnel metrics to drive marketing spend efficiency & revenue growth
  • Actively identify possible issues in the marketing funnel and collaborate with the leaders of marketing and sales to develop action plans.
  • Actively address areas for improvement in marketing procedures, data gathering, and analytical models
  • Co-lead the UK forecasting model and process, and create prediction models that campaign owners can utilize to calculate ROAS, CAC and payback period
  • Maintain marketing reports and use our data to communicate performance, areas for improvement, and shared achievements or failures.
  • Participate in building dashboards to transform huge datasets into insights that the marketing team can use for both proactive and reactive purposes.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing leaders on reporting and analysis needs
  • Work with Tableau Team and provide needed requirements and existing working reports to serve as guides for Tableau dashboard development
  • Develop and monitor periodic full funnel performance of the sales and marketing organizations
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as necessary to drive improvements in the customer success organization
  • Work synergistically with cross-functional partners and stakeholders

requirements

  • At least 6+ years of experience in Business Insights, Marketing Operations or Analytics, or Go-To-Market (GTM) Analytics with the ability to easily manipulate and combine massive data volumes from different Marketing data sources
  • Familiarity in several marketing attribution techniques
  • Hands-on experience in using Salesforce as CRM
  • Familiarity with marketing technologies, highly preferred
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Data Visualization (Tableau, Power BI) and machine learning a huge plus
  • SaaS, B2B experience particularly in a US-based multinational, a huge plus
  • BA or BS in a quantitative field (Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Management Science, Finance, etc.)
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or their G-Suite counterparts)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to motivate change and influence individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to assemble, interpret and apply critical thinking to data to help in decision-making
  • Ability to think and influence both at the strategic and execution level
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated individual who is always looking for opportunities to optimize processes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate data-driven stories to audiences of all levels
  • Results-driven, resourceful, inventive, meticulous, and well-organized

Successful candidate will report in PST hours or hybrid UK/PST hours, depending on the evolving needs of the business.
