Good Room had some maintenance issues. Facility is quite old and likely requires constant maintenance. Bathroom sink leaked into cabinet below. Night lock (deadbolt) on entry door did not work. Rooms do not include safes. Water was hot but very little water pressure. Linens were dated but clean and functional. While minor issues for us, they kept me from rating it higher. Great location, friendly staff See above We wanted to celebrate the 4th of July with a trip to Carmel and were willing to pay post-pandemic prices ($$$) to get away from home for a few days. This hotel property is located in very close proximity to all of the town's best restaurants, art galleries, cafe's and is not too far from the beach.
