Removal and disposal of carpet in a "game room"/loft on my second floor, and installation of hardwood flooring. The job was 183 square feet. I wanted them to match the engineered hardwood flooring that is currently on the first floor. The guy who came out for an estimate was very thorough in terms of talking to me about what kind of floor I wanted. We had almost all of the existing flooring removed and replaced throughout the entire house which included poorly installed engineered hardwood and carpet. This was a large job of about 1800 square feet of floor and because it was the entire house everything touching the floor had to be packed up or moved. I sent my wife with our two dogs to a hotel for 4 nights. My review is based on the idea that the difference between a ok job and a great job is the details. replaced carpet in 3 rooms with hardwood floors very professional, experienced, responded promptly to request for proposal. knew their products very well with a large inventory of hardwood flooring in a climate-controlled warehouse in Garner. Expert installers on time, completed the work perfectly in 9 hours, cleaned up and left us smiling. Gave a $500 discount because of Angie's List referral.

Take out old carpet and replace with new carpet. The entire process was easy and went as smooth as can be. The most difficult part was selecting the carpet. They were always on time to discuss and demo the carpet. The actual installation went so smooth I really have nothing to say about it other then it was perfect. I almost did not know they came in the house and switched out the carpet. This is exactly as I wanted the job be done. Good work can almost be unnoticeable. Install hardwood flooring and carpet. An outstanding experience. Sale was straightforward, great counsel, many choices. Contracting happened in timely fashion, all transparent. Then I had a surprise home repair that required me to postpone the installation for longer than I would've liked, and Carolina In Home was unbelievably patient while I worked through that. I called for an estimate of re carpeting my stairs and then ended up getting new flooring in 3 rooms, a hallway, and the stairs. Customer Service was amazing, selection was great. The convenience of having them come to your home can not be beat. 2 different crews came since I was receiving carpet and laminate floors. Both jobs completed in the same day and everything looks wonderful. Will use this company again
