The prices are not mind blowing. They are decent, but certainly not cheap. The knowledge of the sales staff and the ability to fit the right style of boot to your foot certainly make up for that though. The merchandise is quality and the atmosphere is comfortable.

HUGE selection of boots at reasonable prices. I was a little overwhelmed, but next time I am in TX I will definitely come here to purchase some boots.

I bought my first pair of cowboy boots here. I was so excited to get them out of the store that I left my wallet behind. I didn't realize this until I was back at home, four hours away. Not only did they find my wallet, they overnighted it to me AT NO CHARGE. All of my $$ and credit cards made it safely back to me. A huge THANK YOU to Erica Gilbert and her managers at the San Marcos Cavenders. PS, I love my boots!!!

Definitely not the bessst place I've been necessarily, but there are plenty of helpful employees there, I just don't always seem to go at the right times. The time I actually went to buy something, there was one employee who went above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted and even gave his opinion on several different pairs of boots I was deciding between. So I do like this place, but their selection isn't always the best (especially in clothes!) and their employees are pretty inconsistent.

To most folks suprise I don't own a pair of cowboy boots. I've lived on a ranch my entire life; but country wear just doesn't do anything for me. I went to school in Austin and played basketball so I should think Michael Jordan for most of my high school fashion choices. The wife on the other had can pull off any look including her small collection of cowboy boots. She lived on a farm just outside of Stillwater, OK for most of her childhood. There are 2 racks with a brand called rock 'n' roll denim. They have jeans and they have shirts of the same brand that also say "rock 'n' roll denim" brand over the rack, I picked two shirts in order to get the 50% off the second one and at the register the cashier who is very nice wasn't sure why it didn't ring up as discount and asked the manager who was counting money on the other side. The sales clerks would ask if we needed help but had no interest in helping. "If it's not on the shelf, we don't have it". Snooty cowboys

Horrible experience. Managers were very rude, the store was unbelievably warm, and the employee helping me named Keira was overly pressing and would not let me shop. Overall experience was bad
