The worst dealership ever, the lack of professionalism is unbelievable. Buying a car from them was the worst purchase I have ever done by far. Their service definitely affects the brand. A history of incompetent and dangerous service from Hyundai of White Plains for the second time and NO HELP FROM THE HYUNDAI FACTORY! This is an UPDATE to my review. The auto was inspected by the regulatory third party independent Inspector and the car FAILED the SAFETY REQUIREMENTS for air bag safety. The dealer did not advocate for the customer and the factory was NO help and even unwilling to address the recall issue. NOW THE NHTSB GOVERNMENTAL REGULATORS ARE INVOLVED AND THEY MAY FORCE HYUNDAI TO TAKE BACK THE CARE AND ISSUE A CUSTOMER REFUND SINCE IT IS SO UNSAFE. Car was sold with an extended warrantee after being told incorrectly the original warrantee was not in affect. It was and the extended warrantee wasn't needed. Several problems with the car after it was picked up and were told they wouldn't do anything about it. No surprise this dealer has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau, and a terrible rating with Cars.com and Yelp.com. Once the deal is made, no one cares about customer service. Find another dealer.
I am really surprised by the amount of 5 stars for this dealership. They are not women-friendly at all. They are also not consumer friendly. They had the highest price of all the dealerships I visited. And they used fast math to try to show me that the price wasn't any better or worse, but when I got home and ran the numbers myself they were way off. Honestly the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. They tried to quote me 150-200 higher than the car is actually worth. I would NEVER recommend this place nor will I ever send them any business.
In Feb. 2013, we went to Hyundai of White Plains to buy a car for my daughter. We found the car and agreed on the price. My husband and my daughter signed the deposit agreement and paid $2000. there was a mutually agreed upon transaction. the customer failed in meeting its obligation and our agreement clearly states that there is a 15% fee for cancellation. this customer is not entitled to a refund. we do not have customers sign blank contracts and our public record is not tainted with these type of accusations.
I gave a good review for Mike in service because he was great however I gave a very bad rating to the quality of work and price for two reasons. First because of grossly negligent work performed by one of the so called factory trained mechanics. He used a long nose vice grip(which is the wrong tool) to block the coolant tank recovery line. But the worse part is we got the car back the vice grip still blocking the coolant tank hose and the washer fluid tank was left open and the fluid was contaminated with dirt and debris. Went to this dealer to buy a new car. Was greeted by a sales representative named Carly Kim. Nice enough. Was interested in either a Elantra or a Sonata. Was shown a few. I had a meeting to go to and told her I will be back. I saw a used car on their website that I was very interested in so I called to get the asking price since it wasn't listed online. I spoke to Rosanna who gave me a price and asked if I would like to see it. I told her that I would be there in an hour since the dealership is an hour's drive from my house and she said she would have the car waiting for me when I got there.
