We choose Chama Gaucha every December for our team holiday luncheon for a reason - it's incomparable. From their inviting atmosphere, impeccable food and drink quality, and extensive wine list to the attentive, knowledgeable and professional service, you cannot have a better experience here in San Antonio. Food and service was great, every server was polite and friendly. Food was amazing! They were hosting several Holiday parties atbthe time we were there so the restaurant was very crowded and loud, but I dont believe that is the norm. Even with the larger gr9ups we never waited long for meat servers to come by the table.

Frequent (4-5 times a year) patrons of Chama Gaucha, our favorite restaurant in San Antonio. Always an exceptional experience. Great food, but even better service. One of the few places I don't even consider the price, their service is that good and the food complements their level of service. Still #1 in SA!

We took our 4 adult grandchildren to enjoy Chama Gaucha the day after Thanksgiving. The food & service were outstanding as usual. We especially enjoy the lamb chops! We drive from South Texas, every 2 months or so, just to eat here & it's well worth it! We'll be back on December 30th, just the 2 of us - can't wait!

We often come with our family- it’s a good value for consistently high quality food. I like that we can start service shortly after being seated. Service is always very professional and it’s a great place for a family celebration.

Eating at Chama Gaucha is always outstanding (5 Stars). Can seem expensive but we waste $100 as a couple too often at other restaurants. The extra cost is well worth it for special nights out. We will be back.

This was the nicest, most filling dinner we have ever had in San Antonio. Our food was warm, meat was perfect and the salad bar was full of delicious and fresh vegetables, meet & cheese. The sides provided: warm mashed potatoes, corn fritters and pantains with sugar & cinnamon were excellent. The service was personal, efficient and professional. We left a very good tip.
