We went for our 33rd wedding anniversary. I recommend a reservation. It was early on a Friday evening and they were already very busy. Our server was amazing and very attentive without overdoing it. Management checked in with us a few times. The ONLY complaint I have is the number of times the lighting went up and down, it was a little distracting but otherwise, the food was good, the service was amazing, and we had a very enjoyable evening.

The food and service were top-notch! The ambiance is also top end. We really enjoyed our visit. Special thanks to Aaron, the wine guy. Aaron made sure we got everything we wanted. The wait staff and the chefs with their tasty meats kept our plates and glasses full. We have been here before and Chama Gaucha always delivers. This is truly our go-to place for special occasions and they never disappoint. We highly recommend them. Anyone in San Antonio, or here for a visit, come here for a fantastic all you can eat experience!

I was extremely impressed from the service starting from the door being opening entering the restaurant until exiting. All employees of the restaurant were extremely friendly, drinks were kept full and manager asked several times if the food was okay and always said "my friends" . Which made feel at ease.

Incomparable food, variety of choice, excellent salad bar, amazing service. Dining room is huge w/high ceiling hence noise level is elevated. Will definitely be going there again.
