Very confusing when we walked in. A waitress took our drink order while we waited in the reception, hostess sat us before our drinks came. They initially sat our party of 7 at a large table near salad bar which was also nearest to the busy kitchen. I asked to be moved to a less busy area and they happily accomidated. Food was excellent and our drinks came. When the bill came we were over charged for a very expensive shot. Waitress was attentive and knew the charge was wrong. Very friendly and attentive staff, delicious salad bar and even tastier cuts of beef, chicken and pork, all served gaucho style. What's not to love?

Chama Gaucha is the top Brazilian steakhouse in San Antonio because they work at it. Over many years our dinners have always been tasty and fun. The food has always been top quality and the servers have always been friendly and helpful. Our dinner last night was just like all our previous visits.. Unless you want the mouth-feel of a thick steak, you can't have a better steak dinner anywhere else in town.
