My first experience at Chama Gaucha San Antonio was phenomenal, I received the best service I’ve ever had at a Brazilian steakhouse. There was always someone at my table if I needed something, had the opportunity to sample a beverage, servers were attentive and expedient. I didn’t get the same level of service from the servers this time around, but one of the managers definitely made up for it by anticipating my needs. Staff quick, alert on point never left alone for long period of time. Good excellent food hot always nothing cold. Plenty of everything.

Great salad bar. Delicious meats. Wonderful atmosphere for celebrations. Availability of well done meats was poor despite requests made at time of reservation, check in and communicating to waiter. This will influence our decision to return. Flavor of Cheesecake was underwhelming. One chocolate martini was delicious, the other wasn’t. This was the first visit for one of our party and staff did not introduce him to the dining experience. Staff’s attention otherwise was great but faltered when it came time to pay bill.
