I bought windows and I explained to the salesman what I wanted. He agreed to what I wanted, and they put the wrong windows in my house. They did not put in what I asked for. I called the salesman, he said you're right, those are the wrong windows. They were supposed to take the frames out, and they didn't, so they put a replacement window in the window. I am unhappy with the fact that they do not come when they said they were coming. When they came to install the door, they brought the wrong one out.
Our door is beautiful but either the measurements were off or the installation team didn’t go a good job. The door doesn’t shut properly and nearly 2 weeks later I’m still waiting for a service call. Less of a concern is that we were going to keep our original trim but when the door was installed the trim no longer fit. Champion now has to find a similar trim (ours was thick custom made and milled trim) which isn’t just an item that can be found in a big box hardware store.
The color bond I was sold does not come even close to matching my existing window color. The color chosen by my sales person was Tan but should have been Adobe or Pebble as a closer match. I was reassured multiple times by the sales person that the color would be “very close”.
I was not at home. My fiancé was there. It was done pretty quick.
I am still waiting for the install errors to be corrected.
